Invisalign® is a great alternative to the more traditional metal braces. And they can treat a wide variety of cases in teens and adults. Invisalign® uses a series of clear, removable plastic aligners that gradually move your teeth over time.
After determining whether Invisalign® is right for you, Dr Chae will take a series of bite impressions that will be used to create your Invisalign® retainers. Each aligner is worn for two weeks, then you move on to the next aligner. The process is repeated until the desired result is achieved.
Patients prefer Invisalign® because the clear aligners (retainers) are aesthetically pleasing, and can be removed for eating and cleaning. It also allows you to brush and floss normally, so you can maintain good dental hygiene more easily than with traditional braces.
